Meet Dozier. Dozier came to us back in April , he was one of the Jackson 16 that were rescued from a breeder who passed away. Dozier has a congenital heart issue and had heartworms ( He finished his last treatment at the end of August). He takes meds every day to control his blood pressure. He went to his Foster to Adopt in the beginning of September. Dozier has been very timid and skittish from the time we had found him and was just starting to settle into his new home. 2 days before hurricane Milton Dozier darted out the front door of his Foster's home. That was on Tuesday 10/8. He has been missing since. He got loose in the area of Grand Blvd in New Port Richey , FL. Again he is very skittish. If you see him please take a pic and text it to me and call me 904-716-2457. DO NOT chase him and DO NOT call his name. Any information or sightings would be greatly appreciated , we need to find Dozier. He is scared and wondering in an area he is not familiar with.
